Summary:As an Application Designer, you will assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with various stakeholders to gather and analyze business needs, translating those needs into functional specifications, and working closely with development teams to ensure that the applications align with the defined requirements. You will also engage in problem-solving discussions, providing insights and recommendations to enhance application functionality and user experience, while ensuring that the design adheres to best practices and organizational standards. Roles & Responsibilities:- Part of Asia FIX Implementations team- Responsible for client and broker FIX onboarding for equities, options and futures order flows.- To test, certify and onboard global flows/products.- Focused on onboarding APAC client and broker flows, predominantly for equities.- To manage FIX connectivity requests for APAC businesses and works closely with EMEA and Americas - FIX Implementations colleagues to operate as a global team.- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.- An experienced FIX onboarder with demonstrable technical expertise (FIX Protocol, connectivity).- Deep understanding of operational risk considerations- Creative and enthusiastic problem solver with an analytical, detail-focused mindset.- Strong and thorough communicator to all clients and stakeholders, be they internal or external, business or technical.Ability to manage and own multiple concurrent requests and projects.- Responsible for team decisions.- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather and refine business requirements.- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation to support application design and requirements. Skills:
