Job Description

Role Overview: As a Mechanical Cooling Systems Application Design Senior Engineer at Schneider Electric Regional Execution Platform (REP) in Delhi, you will play a crucial role in both Pre and Post order phases, primarily dedicated to E-house (O&G and MMM) and Datacenter business. Your responsibilities will include working with Tender Managers to increase SE market share and revenue, designing technical solutions, and ensuring the delivery of best-in-class cooling technical solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Gain a practical understanding of airflow and associated restrictions within Data centers and E-house - Design Pre-Order IT Network Critical Physical Infrastructure (NCPI) solutions comprising standard components and 3rd party vendor products & services - Design Post-Order IT Network Critical Physical Infrastructure (NCPI) solutions including various cooling technology such as chilled water supply systems, In-Room, In Row & In Rack cooling solutions, DX cooling systems, evaporative free cooling, etc. - Generate necessary technical documents like Mechanical & Electrical drawings, customer technical submittals, design calculations, testing & commissioning documentation, arrangement layout drawings, co-ordination drawings, O&M Manuals, and RFQ scope & specification - Represent SE at customer project design meetings, promote SE solutions, support Project Manager and Technical Leader, lead cooling assessment surveys & reports, and provide technical support as required - Have knowledge of Fire and Gas Design for Detection and/or suppression of fire Qualification Required: - Master's/Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering/Fluid Mechanics or equivalent - Minimum 5 years of experience designing HVAC or Cooling System solutions for E-houses or Datacenters - Experience in performing thermal load calculations, equipment selection, Computational fluid dynamic simulation, writing FAT/SAT Test protocols, and IOM Manuals - Fluent in English language - Willingness to travel up to 25% in APAC Region Additional Company Details: Schneider Electric values and behaviors are based on the IMPACT values - Inclusion, Mastery, Purpose, Action, Curiosity, Teamwork.
