As a Supplier Management professional, you will be responsible for maintaining regular communication with suppliers to monitor progress and address any issues promptly. In Production Coordination, your role will involve coordinating production schedules and timelines to ensure on-time delivery. You will collaborate with internal teams such as design, sourcing, and logistics to ensure seamless production processes. Monitoring production progress and addressing any delays or discrepancies will be crucial to maintaining purchase order timelines. Quality Assurance will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, including planning for regular quality inspections at various stages of production to ensure compliance with standards and specifications. You will also be required to communicate and address any quality issues found with suppliers, the design team, and sourcing team. Cost Management will play a significant role in your job, where you will monitor production costs and budgets to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness. Identifying opportunities for cost optimization, such as material sourcing alternatives or production process improvements, will be essential. In Risk Management, you will need to identify potential risks and challenges in the production process and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively addressing issues like supply chain disruptions and quality defects to minimize negative impacts on production will be part of your responsibilities. Documentation and Reporting will also be a crucial aspect of your role, involving maintaining accurate records of production activities, time and action calendars, updated production schedules, and quality reports. You will prepare regular reports on production performance, including key metrics such as production delivery against target dates, quality metrics for inspections, and PO completion reports with material reconciliation.
