As an Apparel Merchandiser at Tiny Lane, you will play a crucial role in managing the merchandising activities for our organic and sustainable baby clothing line. Your responsibilities will include: - Sampling, managing production, costing, and mail communication. - Sourcing new products through your vendor network or industry connections. - Traveling to factories to oversee production processes. - Identifying and onboarding new vendors as per business requirements, such as export buyers and sourcing non-apparel products like diapers. - Corresponding with overseas buyers and coordinating quality inspections through third-party agencies. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Proficiency in English and Tamil languages. - Strong communication skills for buyer interactions. - Basic knowledge of fabrics and garments. - Experience in managing factories or vendors. - Strong sourcing abilities and expertise in costing. - Proficiency in managing production processes with vendors. - Digital proficiency with tools like MS Office and email communication. - Willingness to be based in Bangalore and travel as required. - Flexibility to explore and seize other opportunities that may arise.
