CrepDog Crew is India’s biggest streetwear and sneaker ecosystem — combining premium retail stores, curated online platforms, and homegrown designer brands. With experiential stores in Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad, CDC is not just a retailer but a cultural engine shaping fashion in India.


Role Summary

The Apparel Division Lead owns the overall growth, curation quality, and profitability of CDC’s apparel business.

This role looks at the division as a business — not just brands — and ensures that Brand Development Leads are driving performance while the overall apparel portfolio remains tight, differentiated, and profitable.

This role is less about day-to-day firefighting and more about direction, structure, and decision-making.


Core Responsibilities

Division-Level Growth Ownership

  • Own revenue, margins, and growth trajectory of the apparel division.
  • Set clear performance benchmarks for brands and Brand Development Leads.
  • Ensure apparel becomes a stronger, more predictable revenue driver for CDC.


Brand Portfolio & Curation

  • Decide which brands scale, which need fixing, and which should be phased out.
  • Maintain a sharp curation lens — ensuring CDC apparel remains premium, relevant, and differentiated.
  • Avoid clutter by focusing on brands that align with CDC’s consumer and long-term vision.


Leadership of Brand Development Leads

  • Guide and mentor Brand Development Leads to think holistically, not tactically.
  • Ensure they are proactive, planned, and accountable.
  • Review brand performance regularly and push for corrective action where needed.


Inventory & Commercial Discipline

  • Oversee inventory health across the apparel division.
  • Ensure inventory planning is realistic, demand-led, and margin-conscious.
  • Balance growth with profitability — not growth at any cost.


P&L & Profitability

  • Own apparel-level P&L thinking: margins, sell-through, markdown impact, and working capital efficiency.
  • Work closely with leadership to improve apparel EBITDA contribution over time.


Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Align with Retail, Marketing, and Leadership on seasonal planning and growth priorities.
  • Ensure apparel strategy complements CDC’s overall brand and retail strategy.


What Success Looks Like

  • Apparel grows sustainably without chaos.
  • Brand Development Leads operate with clarity and accountability.
  • CDC apparel is known for strong sell-through, clean launches, and disciplined curation.
  • Apparel margins and contribution improve year-on-year.

  • Strong experience in apparel retail or brand aggregation environments.
  • Sharp commercial thinking with creative sensitivity.
  • Calm, structured leader who can guide without micromanaging.
  • Comfortable owning numbers, decisions, and long-term direction.
