As an Apigee Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and supporting the Apigee infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will include: - Defining overall API architecture, API implementations, integration, and deployment of API management platforms such as APIGEE - Developing governance to adhere to architecture guidelines, CI/CD methodology, API versioning strategy, and API monetization strategy - Implementing automation scripts through Ansible and Python - Designing and implementing API Gateway solutions - Leading analytical and consulting working sessions to solve technical problems faced by application teams - Facilitating Disaster Recovery exercises and Capacity Planning and Management activities - Troubleshooting and resolving production issues related to the Apigee platform - Leading root cause analysis sessions and ensuring documentation is created and updated - Building relationships with client application teams, mentoring Junior Engineers, and participating in business and functional requirements review meetings - Establishing best practices and implementation guidelines for APIGEE implementation - Reducing build costs by designing and implementing reusable assets - Developing and deploying API policies using Apigee Edge Platform - Monitoring/logging using tools such as Azure Monitor, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, and Log Analytics - Leading the CI/CD process and code reviews of APIs - Ensuring the solution conforms to strategic architecture and working with infrastructure teams to ensure correct setup - Assisting the project team with any tech issues related to API design, performance, and gateway Qualifications and skills required for this role include: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science - Hands-on DevOps experience with experience leading a small team is desirable - Good communication skills in person and over the phone - Strong knowledge of Apigee infrastructure and development - Solid understanding of API design and API management - Experience with an API Gateway solution, specifically APIGEE - Experienced in delivering applications through the entire SDLC process - Experienced in working with infrastructure teams and various monitoring tools - Understanding of security tools, technologies, and guidelines such as OWASP, SAML, OAuth, and SSL - Understanding of enterprise architectures and integration tools - Capable of picking up new technologies and developing new solutions Apply now if you have the required experience and skills to excel in this dynamic role.,
