Infosys is Hiring for 5+ years of Experience in API Testing

Job Title: API Tester / Automation API Tester

Job Brief:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled API Tester to validate the functionality, reliability, performance, and security of our APIs. The ideal candidate will have experience in automated API testing, a strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP services, and proficiency with tools like Postman, SoapUI, and REST Assured.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute API test cases and scenarios based on business requirements.
Automate API tests using tools and frameworks such as Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
Validate API endpoints for correct data exchange, error handling, and performance.
Identify, document, and track bugs and performance issues.
Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and analysts to resolve defects and improve API quality.
Analyze test results and provide actionable insights.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on API design and usability.
Continuously improve testing methodologies and frameworks.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
Knowledge of JSON, XML, SQL.
