API Developer (L2)

Position:

Role Overview:

API development, deployment, and support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain APIs using 

    Node.js & Microservices

    .

  • Manage and configure 

    Kong Enterprise Platform (API Gateway)

    .

  • Deploy and scale services on 

    Kubernetes clusters

     (Docker-based).

  • Provide 

    L2 support

     for API and platform-related issues.

  • Perform administration and troubleshooting in 

    Linux environments

    .

  • Integrate APIs with 

    cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

    .

  • Automate tasks using 

    Shell/Bash scripting

    .

  • Monitor and optimize systems using 

    Prometheus & Grafana

    .

Skills Required:

  • Node.js, Microservices

  • Kong Enterprise Platform (API Gateway)

  • Kubernetes, Docker

  • Linux Administration

  • AWS / Azure / GCP (any one)

  • Shell / Bash scripting

  • Prometheus, Grafana

Good to Have:

  • CI/CD pipeline knowledge

  • API Security (OAuth, JWT, mTLS)

  • Certifications in Kubernetes / Cloud / API Gateways
