Experience:

We are looking for an experienced API Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful and SOAP-based APIs. The candidate should be well-versed in integration patterns, API security, and scalable architectures, preferably within financial services, e-commerce, or enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy APIs using modern frameworks and best practices.
Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.
Collaborate with front-end and back-end teams to integrate APIs with applications.
Maintain API documentation using Swagger / Postman / OpenAPI.
Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2.0, JWT, etc.).
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve integration issues.
Work closely with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integrations.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience in API development.
Strong proficiency in
Java
Experience with API management platforms (Apigee, Kong, MuleSoft, WSO2, or similar).
Solid understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML.
Strong database knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Oracle).
Hands-on experience with
microservices architecture
and
cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
.
Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in Agile environments.
