Anesthesia Technologist

Pre-Operative Duties:

• Prepare, calibrate, and check anesthesia machines, ventilators, and monitoring devices.
• Ensure availability of emergency drugs, airway devices, and resuscitation equipment.
• Assist in positioning patients and preparing them for anesthesia.
• Verify that all anesthesia supplies (syringes, IV fluids, catheters, circuits, etc.) are ready and sterile.

2. Intra-Operative Duties:

• Assist anesthesiologist in induction, maintenance, and reversal of anesthesia.
• Monitor and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment during procedures.
• Maintain sterile techniques while assisting with invasive procedures (intubation, IV cannulation, arterial/central line insertion, etc.).
• Record anesthesia-related data as directed by the anesthesiologist.
• Respond promptly to equipment alarms or anesthesia-related emergencies.

3. Post-Operative Duties:

• Support transfer of patients to recovery/post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).
• Assist in monitoring patients during recovery from anesthesia.
• Clean, disinfect, and restock anesthesia equipment and supplies after procedures.

4. Administrative & Supportive Functions:

• Maintain inventory of anesthesia supplies, medications, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols.
• Participate in training, audits, and quality improvement activities.
• Report malfunctioning equipment and ensure timely maintenance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
