Android Developer

We are looking for an experienced Android engineer to join our team and help build next-generation video streaming experiences. This role will focus on delivering high-quality playback solutions, seamless user interfaces, and robust integrations with third-party platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize our mobile video player framework, ensuring our users enjoy a smooth and engaging streaming experience.

Core Requirements

Excellent programming skills in Java and Kotlin

Experience with tools from the Android Jetpack Suite

Experience building components to support video playback, user interfaces, video metadata, and third-party integrations

Experience with video QoE metrics, ABR algorithms, and video player frameworks such as ExoPlayer

Experience with analytics platforms like Conviva and Mux

Nice-to-haves:

English fluency and great communication skills

Previous experience working in a remote environment

Autonomy, innovation, and a passion for software development are highly valued traits
