Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack Compose.
• Implement and optimize ExoPlayer for seamless video streaming in OTT apps.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications across devices.
• Manage multiple project deliveries while aligning with the team on timelines and goals.
• Stay updated with the latest Android development trends, libraries, and tools.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Android development.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Java.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Proficiency in integrating and customizing ExoPlayer for OTT platforms.
• Good understanding of Android SDK, architecture components, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience in performance tuning, memory management, and debugging.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative team environments.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
  

Good to Have

• Experience with Firebase, Retrofit, Room, or Dagger/Hilt.
• Knowledge of MVVM / Clean Architecture.
• Prior experience working on large-scale OTT or media streaming apps.
