Android Developer

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Android Developer with 1 to 2.5 years of hands-on experience to join our onsite team in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The candidate should have strong practical exposure to Android app development using Java and/or Kotlin and the ability to work on real-time, production-level applications. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Android applications using Android Studio, SDK, and Gradle, while following best coding practices and app architecture (MVVM/MVC). The role requires expertise in UI development using XML and Material Design, along with integrating REST APIs using Retrofit or Volley and handling JSON data efficiently. You should be comfortable working with core Android components such as Activities, Fragments, RecyclerView, and managing local data using SQLite or Room. Understanding the Android lifecycle, permissions, and SharedPreferences is essential for this role. The developer will collaborate closely with backend, QA, and UI/UX teams to ensure smooth functionality and a high-quality user experience. Debugging, performance optimization, and issue resolution will be a key part of daily responsibilities. You will also assist in app deployment, updates, and maintenance on the Google Play Store. Basic knowledge of Git version control is expected. Familiarity with Firebase, Jetpack components, and device features like location, camera, or WebView will be considered an advantage. Candidates should hold a B.Tech, MCA, BCA, or possess equivalent practical experience in Android development.
