Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate Android Developer to join our tech team and contribute to building seamless, scalable, and user-friendly mobile applications. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our devotional platform and providing an engaging digital experience to our users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin/Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs (RESTful APIs, JSON, etc.)
• Maintain and improve existing application performance and fix bugs.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement clean, modern, and responsive designs.
• Ensure compatibility with multiple versions of Android and device types.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Proficient in Kotlin and/or Java.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs (Retrofit, Volley, etc.)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Knowledge of offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Firebase, push notifications, and app analytics is a plus.
• Good understanding of Git or version control tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with minimal supervision.
• Passion for devotional platforms or understanding of the spiritual domain is a plus.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 2-3 months

Pay: ₹7,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
