Android Application Developer Intern

As an Android Developer Intern at Prabhubhakti Pvt. Ltd., located in Udyog Vihar, Phase 5, Gurgaon, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of seamless, scalable, and user-friendly mobile applications for our devotional platform. Prabhubhakti is India's fastest-growing D2C devotional startup, focusing on merging spirituality with modern lifestyle through a wide range of spiritual products, temple services, astrology, and devotional experiences. Your key responsibilities will include designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin/Java, collaborating with cross-functional teams to introduce new features, working with external data sources and APIs, maintaining and enhancing application performance, and ensuring the best quality, responsiveness, and compatibility across different Android versions and devices. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, possess a strong understanding of Android SDK, different Android versions, and screen sizes, be proficient in Kotlin and/or Java, have experience with third-party libraries and APIs such as Retrofit and Volley, and be familiar with RESTful APIs and Google's Android design principles. Additionally, knowledge of offline storage, threading, performance tuning, Firebase, push notifications, app analytics, Git or version control tools, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with minimal supervision are highly desirable. A passion for devotional platforms or understanding of the spiritual domain is considered a plus. This internship opportunity at Prabhubhakti Pvt.
