Analyst/Senior Analyst - Performance Analytics

About the role

We are looking for a resourceful candidate to join the India office of DESRI, i.e., DESRI India Private Limited, based in Hyderabad, India. The candidate will be a part of Design and Engineering team and will regularly interact with the U.S. and Hyderabad-based teams, as well as external parties. The candidate will be a part of a small, inclusive, highly skilled team responsible for supporting DESRI s portfolio of wind, solar, and storage projects within a dynamic environment that values collaboration, thoughtful problem solving, and attention to detail.

What youll do

In this role, you ll use performance data to create customized operational reports for a fleet of solar and hybrid (solar plus storage) projects. The aim is to increase visibility of underperformance and communicate root cause analysis. Effective reporting will require fundamental understanding of solar and hybrid project operations, proficiency in data analysis, quantification of energy loss, experience in monitoring fleet of projects through different tools. You will ensure accuracy and correctness of reports. You will leverage existing resources and analytical thinking to provide data-driven insights to assist Asset Managers. You will also be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will be required to undertake automation initiatives that enable timely reporting and reduce manual intervention, build and maintain reports

Basic qualifications:

• B.Tech./M.Tech. in any stream but Energy Systems Engineering is preferred.
• Background of working in renewable energy industry with 2 to 4 years of relevant industrial experience.
• Experience in creating performance/ operational reports covering a fleet of solar and hybrid (solar plus storage) projects.
• Proficiency in data analytics and data visualization. Comfortable working with performance datasets, analytics tools, and reporting metrics.
• Experience and exposure to performance monitoring tools and Power BI.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
