This team is focused on building the business and running the business by providing the vendors a world class on-boarding experience and supporting them throughout their partnership by managing their information, contracts, policies and also enabling them with their sales and inventory data.
Job Summary:
The Vendor Performance Analyst role focuses on driving medium-to-long-term improvements within Vendor Performance. Functions of the role include generating vendor data analysis, driving Supplier On-time and Fill Rate performance, processing monthly vendor scorecards and chargebacks, managing vendor inquiries, and building relationships with vendors and other key cross-functional stakeholders within Lowe s.
The successful candidate will be an individual who can identify and support strategic improvement initiatives for vendor compliance performance while being able to dive deep into areas of opportunity and develop solutions and processes towards improvements.
Roles Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities:
- Execute the vendor chargeback process and manage vendor inquiries regarding the same.
- Proactively analyze vendor data and identify and address issues
- Liaise between Supply Chain, Operations, Accounting, and Merchandising teams to resolve vendor issues quickly
- Partners with Merchandising, Supply Chain Planning and Replenishment to improve vendor performance and provide teams with data and metrics to ensure vendor performance is considered in business decisions (i.e. Product Line Reviews)
- Prepares management level reports and handles a category to improve OTIF performance.
- Support (Sr.) Analyst with data reporting
- Assist with developing process improvement recommendations and help to manage end-to-end implementation.
- Assist with vendor management training materials and facilitate sessions as needed.
- Coordinate, minute, and document monthly vendor performance feedback
Years of Experience:
- Bachelor s Degree; Business or Related Field plus 2+ years relevant experience
Education Qualification Certifications (optional)
Required Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree BBA, BCom, Operations Research or Related Field
Skill Set Required
Primary Skills (must have)
- Experience with data analysis and providing insights about the data.
- Experience working with Excel and other data/reporting tools.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to develop analytical documents for presentation to management.
- Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
Secondary Skills (desired)
- Experience in Data mining and visualization tool such as Power BI, SQL, MS Access, VBA
