Job Description

As an Analyst in Structured Credit Trading at our Mumbai office, you will play a crucial role in supporting the trading and analyst teams globally. Your responsibilities will include producing essential MIS reports, conducting analysis, maintaining tools for identifying trading opportunities, recommending trade ideas, analyzing companies, and providing customized ad hoc analysis. Key Responsibilities: - Support the US and EU CLO Primary business in executing CLO transactions by working closely with the structuring and syndication functions - Assist in bridging the front office with product support functions - Collaborate with the team on running intex models, portfolio analysis, and deal closing mechanics - Prepare management and client presentations effectively Qualification Required: - Quantitative background from a top-tier school with basic knowledge of Credit instruments - Strong analytical skills for creating complex CLO structures - Problem-solving skills - Willingness to work in EMEA shift - Ability to multitask effectively - Excellent written and oral communication skills Desirable Skills: - Certifications like CFA would be advantageous - Experience in CLOs, rating agency criteria, and regulations - Proficiency in using Intexcalc, Intex Dealmaker, S&P Cash Flow Evaluator, Moodys CDO Edge - Self-starter and proactive individual - Strong team player with excellent organizational skills In this role, your responsibilities will revolve around covering relevant sectors and credits, monitoring news events, and working closely with Traders and Salespeople to communicate market updates. You will be tasked with building financial models, researching companies and industries, and identifying trends that impact company performance. Your accountabilities will include maintaining and updating financial models and client databases accurately, preparing reports and presentations to support sales and trading activities, monitoring market data and news flow, analyzing financial information for trading decisions, and collaborating with traders to develop trade ideas. As an Analyst, you are expected to perform activities in a timely manner and to a high standard, driving continuous improvement. You will lead and supervise a team, guide professional development, allocate work requirements, and coordinate team resources. Additionally, you will partner with other functions and business areas, take ownership of managing risk, and ensure compliance with relevant rules and regulations.
