Job Summary

The role is responsible for supporting fund valuation and reporting activities through accurate pricing of Listed and OTC securities, timely asset setup in accounting platforms, and maintenance of benchmarks and indices. The position supports operations across APAC and EMEA regions and works closely with fund accounting and reporting teams.

Key Responsibilities

Pricing Operations

• Perform daily pricing of Listed and OTC securities to support Net Asset Value (NAV) calculation and fund reporting.
  
• Ensure accurate and timely price updates in accounting systems across APAC and EMEA markets.
  
• Investigate and resolve pricing exceptions and discrepancies.
  
• Liaise with pricing vendors, internal stakeholders, and fund accounting teams as required.
  
• Ensure adherence to pricing policies, valuation guidelines, and operational controls.
  

Asset Creation / Security Master

• Set up new securities and financial instruments in accounting platforms.
  
• Maintain and update security master data for Listed and OTC instruments across APAC and EMEA regions.
  
• Validate instrument attributes such as identifiers, classifications, currencies, and market data.
  
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness to support downstream accounting and reporting processes.
  

Benchmark & Index Maintenance

• Create and maintain benchmarks and indices for funds and mandates in accounting platforms.
  
• Perform periodic reviews and updates to benchmark data.
  
• Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure benchmarks are aligned with fund documentation and mandates.
  

Operational & Control Activities

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and meet service level agreements (SLAs).
  
• Support audits, internal reviews, and regulatory requirements by providing required data and explanations.
  
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and automation efforts.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 13 years of experience in Fund Accounting, Pricing, Security Master, or related investment operations roles.
  
• Working knowledge of Listed and OTC instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives preferred).
  
• Understanding of NAV calculation and fund valuation processes.
  
• Experience working with accounting platforms and market data providers.
  
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively across global teams and time zones (APAC & EMEA).
  
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
