Analyst- Motor OD Claims

Job Description

Responsibilities  Drive all motor claims processing within specified TATs and control cost  Ensure communication is maintained within internal and external stakeholders for claim status updates  Ensure proper relationships are maintained with intermediaries for smooth flow on claims and enhance business experience  Ensure claim process flow is maintained for complete control on claims  Follow loss minimization activities to reduce claims cost  Manage day to day claim processing and monitor team for high productivity  Manage Settlement TATs as per agreed timelines and monitor the same  Drive cost control measures across the team by strict scrutiny of the files received for processing  Maintain MIS of files processed by team for status review and performance measures  Responsible for the delivery of the team in all service related parameters  Work closely with other teams including of information management/claims/UW/Ops/IT/Compliance  Set goals, review findings and provide feedback so as to ensure a motivated and committed team works together to drive better results.  Foster an environment of learning, excellence and innovation within all aspects of team work in the department Qualifications o Automobile/Mechanical Engineering Degree/Diploma/ITI/Automobile Technical certification course/ Surveyors License o Proficiency in MS office with exceptional knowledge of managing microsoft excel o Should have Excellent communication skills o Should be proficient in using the General claims system and have experience in working on similar IT based platforms in their previous experiences. Experience o 4+ years experience in handling motor insurance claims / motorloss assessing/ or regional supply chain function. o Previous experience of 4+years either in an insurance company or as an independent surveyor or in Body and Paint Shop of an automobile dealership. o Having knowledge of automobiles, economical repair practices, and motor insurance and allied areas.
