At Hansen, we re driving growth through smart acquisitions that reshape the Energy & Utilities and Communications industries. As our in-house M&A Analyst, you ll play a key role in identifying opportunities, uncovering insights, and supporting global strategy decisions that fuel our expansion and innovation.

What You ll Do

• Research companies across the Energy & Utilities and Communications SaaS ecosystems to identify potential M&A targets, partners, and market disruptors.


• Build detailed company and market profiles, analysing financials, customer segments, and technology capabilities.


• Conduct competitor and market trend analysis to support deal sourcing and valuation.


• Develop financial models, valuation assessments, and executive reports to inform strategic decisions.


• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Strategy, Finance, and Product to align insights with business goals.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in M&A research, corporate strategy, investment banking, or equity research ideally within SaaS or technology.


• Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, CAC, LTV) and financial valuation methods.


• Strong analytical and storytelling skills you can turn data into actionable insights.


• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).


• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Pune office.
