Analyst II, Data Assurance, Finance

Role Overview: As an Analyst II, Data Assurance, Finance (Data Assurance Analyst) at our company, you will be responsible for conducting internal controls testing on various systems used by Global Cash Management across multiple locations. Reporting to the Manager, Internal Controls Testing, Finance, your role will involve implementing key components of the data assurance program such as risk and control assessment, audit execution and reporting, issue management, risk mitigation, process improvement, and project work. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute test plans for various system applications. - Conduct manual and automated testing as part of control testing. - Review application and system change requests for adequacy before implementation. - Collaborate with development teams to understand the impact of system changes. - Support the preparation of the monthly SOX Report. - Participate in regulatory exams and audits. - Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement through innovative solutions. - Work closely with other departments including Finance, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Treasury. - Conduct risk assessments on existing controls and new initiatives. - Create awareness programs on the importance of internal controls and compliance. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. - 2-4 years of experience in internal controls testing/auditing or information technology audit. - Experience in the banking industry is preferred. - Strong knowledge of SAP and Oracle EBS applications. - Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. - Effective verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. - Strong problem-solving skills to identify root cause issues. - Good interpersonal skills to interact with employees at all levels.
