Analyst

As a Data Researcher (DR) for the US Relationship Check Team within the Independence Group at Grant Thornton INDUS, your role involves performing National Conflict Checks (NCC) for the United States. This includes conducting Conflict Checks for potential new clients or new business for existing clients from Grant Thornton's domestic and international offices. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing DR tasks using the NCC tool application based on deadlines and provided instructions - Accessing the Relationship Checking System (RCS) and the Global Relationship System (GRS) for research - Conducting research via internet searches as required - Responding to inquiries and maintaining a high level of customer service - Comprehending and acting upon responses from member firms promptly - Participating in meetings and discussions on RCS/NCC performance and processes - Communicating with management at Grant Thornton and contacts from member firms worldwide - Being cross-trained to assist with family tree research or other independence functions - Handling ad hoc assignments as needed Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor/Post Graduation degree - Good internet research skills - Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills - Ability to follow detailed written instructions - Capability to work under short deadlines and prioritize workload - Dedication to meeting deadlines - Willingness to work off-hours if required, including some holidays - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.) About Grant Thornton INDUS: Grant Thornton INDUS is the shared services center supporting Grant Thornton LLP, the U.S. member firm of Grant Thornton International Ltd.
