Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Ammonia Plant Operator and Maintenance position located in Chhata. The role involves operating and maintaining the ammonia refrigeration plant, ensuring the plant runs efficiently and safely, and troubleshooting and repairing equipment as needed. The operator will also perform regular inspections, monitor system performance, and adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements. The operator will collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and conduct preventative maintenance and equipment upgrades to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining ammonia refrigeration systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair refrigeration equipment
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to ammonia refrigeration
• Understanding of system performance metrics and methods to monitor and improve efficiency
• Basic electrical and mechanical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree or technical certification in a relevant field is a plus
• Previous experience in the food processing or cold storage industry is beneficial
