Role Overview: As an AML Analyst at Transak, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that AML obligations are met on a daily basis. Your responsibilities will include transaction monitoring, screening users against PEP, Sanctions, and adverse media databases, identifying and escalating suspicious users and transactions for further review, and reviewing users and transactions flagged for AML reasons. This role demands strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the flexibility to work in rotational shifts when required. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct transaction monitoring to ensure AML compliance - Screen users against PEP, Sanctions, and adverse media databases - Identify and escalate suspicious users and transactions for further review - Review users and transactions flagged for AML reasons - Work with a team to ensure regulatory compliance and auditing - Analyze complex data with attention to detail - Collaborate effectively with team members - Maintain excellent communication with stakeholders - Adapt to working in rotational shifts as needed Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field - Prior experience in the crypto industry is advantageous - Certification in AML or Compliance is a plus - Familiarity with Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) processes is beneficial - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration - Knowledge of Screening of Users against Sanctions, PEP, and adverse media databases - Experience in transaction monitoring and remediating alerts - Ability to work both independently and in a team (Note: The "About Us" section has been omitted from the final JD as it does not contain specific job-related details.)
