AM/DM - Civil Site Engineer

Role Overview: ib vogt GmbH, established in 2002, specializes in the Development, Design, Engineering, Financing, EPC, and Operation of solar power, providing turnkey solar power plant solutions globally. As a manufacturer-independent integrated developer, the company focuses on tailor-made solutions to maximize the performance and returns of solar power plants. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage all civil works on solar power project sites from initiation to completion. - Coordinate with the project manager to define project scope, schedule, and budget for civil works. - Develop and implement site-specific work plans, including timelines, manpower, equipment, and materials. - Ensure timely delivery of materials and resources to the site. - Supervise and manage subcontractors, construction teams, and vendors to execute civil activities as per the project plan. - Oversee site preparation activities, grading, excavation, foundation work, and construction of civil structures. - Manage the execution of civil works, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and industry best practices. - Ensure quality control on all civil works, conducting regular site inspections and audits. - Lead, motivate, and manage a team of engineers, supervisors, and laborers to execute civil works. - Control and manage the civil works budget, monitor resource allocation, and ensure proper management of materials, tools, and equipment. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations, implement safety programs on-site, and monitor safety practices. - Serve as the main point of contact for all civil-related aspects of the project, provide regular progress updates, and liaise with stakeholders. - Prepare and submit periodic reports on project progress, civil works status, issues, and solutions. Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field. A masters degree or additional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus. - 9-12 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 5 years in the solar industry, including large-scale solar projects. - Proven track record of managing civil execution on solar power plants. - Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction techniques, especially for solar power plant projects. - Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and MS Office suite. - Understanding of environmental and regulatory compliance related to solar energy projects.,
