Purpose of the role:
To lead the organizations technology vision and strategy by driving digital transformation, modernizing IT infrastructure, and implementing SAP S/4HANA to enable seamless business integration, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making across all manufacturing functions.
The role aims to establish IT as a key business enabler  ensuring robust system reliability, cybersecurity, and scalability  while aligning technology initiatives with the companys long-term growth and efficiency goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. IT Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute the organization's IT roadmap      aligned with business objectives and digital transformation goals.
- Lead IT governance, budgeting, and performance      management to ensure alignment with corporate strategy.
- Drive innovation through adoption of Industry 4.0      technologies (IoT, automation, AI, predictive analytics).
- Collaborate with business heads to identify process      gaps and digital opportunities.
SAP S/4HANA Implementation & Optimization
- Lead end-to-end implementation and post-go-live      stabilization of SAP S/4HANA (on-premise or cloud).
- Oversee integration of SAP modules — MM, PP, SD, FICO,      PM, QM, HR, etc. — with plant operations and supply chain systems.
- Ensure smooth migration from legacy ERP systems to SAP      S/4HANA, including data governance and master data management.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure SAP      configuration aligns with functional needs and process excellence.
- Manage relationships with SAP partners, consultants,      and system integrators.
- Drive continuous improvement through SAP enhancements,      automation, and analytics dashboards (Fiori, BW/4HANA).
 
3. IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity
- Oversee all IT infrastructure, networking, cloud      platforms, and data centers ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Implement robust cybersecurity framework and compliance      with data privacy regulations.
- Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans      are in place and tested.
- Manage IT asset lifecycle, software licensing, and      vendor performance.
 
4. Digital Transformation & Smart Manufacturing
- Champion digital transformation initiatives across      plants — automation, MES integration, predictive maintenance, and energy      management.
- Promote use of data analytics, AI, and IoT for      operational efficiency and cost optimization.
- Support deployment of connected factory systems and      integration with SAP for real-time visibility.
- Drive paperless operations and digital workflows across      functions.
 
5. Team Management & Capability Building
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team to ensure      technical competency and business orientation.
- Build internal SAP support and analytics teams to      reduce dependency on external vendors.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation      within the IT function.
 
6. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders to      translate business requirements into IT initiatives.
- Manage vendor selection, SLA monitoring, and cost      optimization.
- Establish strong relationships with SAP, cloud      providers, and technology partners.
 
7. Compliance, Audit & Reporting
- Ensure IT compliance with ISO standards, audit      requirements, and industry best practices.
- Maintain IT policies for data protection, access      control, and usage governance.
- Present IT performance metrics and ROI to senior      leadership periodically.
 
Candidate Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information      Technology / Electronics / Engineering.
- MBA in Systems / Operations or equivalent management      qualification preferred.
- SAP S/4HANA certification or advanced training will be      an added advantage.
 
Experience
- 18–25 yearsof overall IT experience, with- at least 5–8 yearsin a leadership or head-level role within a- manufacturing      organization.
- Proven end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation and      rollout experience(preferably across multiple plants or business      units).
- Strong background in IT strategy, infrastructure      management, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
- Hands-on exposure to integration of SAP with MES,      PLM, CRM, and other business systems.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes,      supply chain, and shop-floor integration.
- Experience in managing multi-location IT operationsand vendor ecosystems.
- Demonstrated success in aligning IT initiatives with      business goalsand driving measurable outcomes.
 
Technical Competencies
- In-depth understanding of SAP modules: MM, PP,      SD, FICO, PM, QM, and HR.
- Strong command of data migration, master data      governance, analytics tools (Fiori, BW/4HANA), and cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure,networking,cybersecurity protocols, anddata privacy regulations.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologiessuch      as IoT, predictive maintenance, AI/ML, and automation systems.
- Experience in business continuity planning,disaster      recovery, andISO/ITIL frameworks.
