Job Description

Role Overview: As an Assistant Manager in Record to Report at Genpact, you will be a strong Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive knowledge of accounting concepts. You will lead a team of 10-15 people and be responsible for end-to-end accounting and reconciliation processes. Your role will involve managing multiple stakeholders, ensuring smooth month-end close and reporting, meeting important metrics and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), reviewing the timely execution of controls, driving audit results, and building customer relationships. Key Responsibilities: - Manage multiple stakeholders effectively - Ensure smooth month-end close and reporting on a monthly basis - Adhere to and meet important metrics/SLAs, and review the timely execution of controls - Drive audit results and ensure timely submission of evidences as per requirements - Build customer relationships, enhance customer satisfaction, and lead process update calls with customers when necessary Qualifications: Minimum qualifications: - MBA in Finance (Candidates with a B.Com degree are also considered) - Relevant work experience Preferred qualifications: - Candidates with a CA Inter degree and relevant work experience in General Ledger - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel - Familiarity with working under different ERP packages such as JDE and SAP,
