Job Description Job Responsibilities Develop, execute, and automate detailed feature test plans for BRAS protocols like PPPoE, DHCP, L2TP, IPv6, Multicasting, SNMP, and L2/L3 protocols such as BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VPLS, QoS, Policy, and PPP. Review Market Requirements Documents, Product Description Documents, and Functional Specifications. Collaborate with Technical Publications teams for documentation review. Support Beta teams during feature adoption. Work with Product Managers to identify feature deployment scenarios and incorporate them into test plans. Rapidly respond to customer queries and escalations. Conduct knowledge dissemination sessions and mentor junior engineers. Provide technical presentations and respond to queries from JTAC and Systems Engineers. Qualifications & Skills Education: BE/ME/MCA in Computer Science or Electronics & Communication Engineering. Experience: Min 8-14 years in product testing and BRAS/L2/L3 protocols testing. Certifications: JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, CCNP (preferred). Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of OSI Model, TCP/IP protocol suite (ARP, IP, ICMP, IGMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP, FTP). Knowledge of protocols like PPP, PPPoE, DHCP, HTTP, Radius, AAA, L2TP, IGMP. Familiarity with routing protocols such as ISIS, OSPF, BGP, QoS, Multicast, MPLS, and VPLS. Expert-level proficiency in Python, Perl, and complex automation.
