Position Summary

Team Manager with sound experience in Insurance Claim Payments / Insurer Payments (UK Insurance experience is mandatory)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage a team working on claims payments for UK region
  • People management & client management experience is a must
  • Conduct one on one sessions with team members
  • Ability to analyze and prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports
  • Communicate with onshore and offshore teams for process level updates
  • Ensuring SLA has been met as agreed with onshore teams
  • Ability to resolve process level queries of the team and other parties across the organization
  • Sound knowledge of Insurer reconciliation i.e. Reconciling of Insurer Statements against Business
  • Experience with keying and approving payments on the bank line
  • Proactively review existing processes and implement control and efficiency improvements
  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required

Additional Responsibilities

  • Updating and reviewing SOP, Error Logs and other relevant documents
  • Facilitating calibration & refresher sessions for the team

Skills and Competencies

  • Experience in UK Domain and Claim payment activity
  • Experience on Accounts Payable / Receivable
  • 2+ years experience in People management
  • Proficient verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience of working with EMEA and APAC clients is an add on
  • Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Good Accounting knowledge
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks successfully while meeting tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of Reconciliation and arranging payments
  • Familiarity with and ability to navigate within bank online systems
  • Ability to work extended hours as business needs dictate

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Major B Com, M Com, MBA in Finance, BBA

Experience :

  • Work Experience 7+ years experience which includes minimum 2 years of People Management
