Job Description

Field Account Manager – Footwear & Apparel

Purpose / Mission

distribution sales/channel sales

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales targets (Sell-In) across assigned accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Lead

    channel partner management

    by growing adidas’ share of business and unlocking new market opportunities.
  • Ensure achievement of

    seasonal pre-order (OTB)

    targets and timely execution of key initiatives.
  • Build strong partnerships with existing and new

    distribution partners

    , ensuring aligned business goals.
  • Forecast primary and secondary sales, gather market insights, and identify emerging trends.
  • Manage operational excellence: order tracking, input, confirmations, cancellations, and deliveries.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement strategic and seasonal priorities.
  • Monitor and review channel partner KPIs, sell-through performance, and competitive activities.
  • Execute the RTV process efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Develop seasonal product assortments, sales forecasts, and contingency plans based on market data.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to drive sell-in and sell-out.
  • Ensure strategic alignment with each account by formalizing business plans and securing internal approvals.
  • Provide regular business reports and action plans to management based on market performance.

Candidate Profile

Experience:

  • 8–10 years

    of proven experience in

    distribution/channel sales

    , preferably within the

    footwear or apparel industry

    .
  • Strong understanding of retail, distribution networks, and sales operations.
  • Prior exposure to managing

    multi-brand outlets (MBOs)

    or partner-driven retail models is highly preferred.
  • Experience in sportswear, fashion.

Skills:

  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and forecasting ability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools – Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Education:

  • MBA

    in Business, Marketing, or a related field from a reputed B-school.
