AM- Accounts & Finance(Apparel)

As an experienced Accounting professional, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing day-to-day accounting, financial operations, compliance, and reporting activities for the garment/apparel business. Your role will involve ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements following statutory norms. - Manage GST, TDS, and other tax compliances specific to the garment/apparel industry. - Monitor cost controls, budgeting, and variance analysis related to apparel manufacturing/trading. - Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audits. - Oversee inventory accounting, stock valuation, and cost sheet preparation for garments. - Conduct vendor and customer reconciliations. - Provide support to management by generating MIS reports, cash flow statements, and financial analysis. - Collaborate with production and merchandising teams to align finance with business operations. Key Skills & Competencies: - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance. - Preferably experienced in the garment/apparel industry with expertise in costing, inventory, and vendor management. - Proficient in Tally ERP/SAP or relevant accounting software. - Advanced skills in MS Excel and analytics. - Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Qualification & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Finance (B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, or CA Inter). - Minimum 4-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Garments/Apparel industry. - Capable of managing deadlines and working effectively under pressure. - Demonstrated commitment to upholding company policies, financial discipline, and statutory compliances.
