Role Overview

Data Scientist / ML Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize

  time series forecasting models

  (ARIMA, Prophet, LSTM, Transformer-based models, etc.).
• Develop

  computer vision models

  for object detection, recognition, and classification using frameworks like OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Apply statistical and ML techniques to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into ML solutions.
• Deploy ML models into production pipelines using

  Python, FastAPI/Flask, or MLflow

  .
• Work with structured/unstructured data from various sources (SQL, images, video).
• Ensure model performance, scalability, and reliability through monitoring and retraining pipelines.
• Document technical designs, methodologies, and best practices.

Required Skills

• Programming:

  Strong Python skills (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow, OpenCV).

• Forecasting & Time Series:

  ARIMA, SARIMA, Prophet, LSTM, GRU, Transformer models.

• Computer Vision:

  CNNs, Image classification, Object detection (YOLO, Faster R-CNN), Image preprocessing.

• Data Handling:

  SQL, data cleaning, feature engineering, statistical analysis.

• Deployment:

  Experience with model deployment using FastAPI/Flask/Docker.

• Tools/Platforms:

  Git, Jupyter, MLflow, Azure ML / AWS Sagemaker / GCP AI Platform.
• Strong understanding of

  ML lifecycle, experimentation, and MLOps

  practices.

Good to Have (Optional)

• Knowledge of

  Generative AI for vision tasks

  (Diffusion models, GANs).
• Experience with

  cloud-based pipelines

  (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with

  real-time video analytics

  and streaming pipelines.
• Exposure to

  AutoML tools

  for forecasting or vision.
