JOB TITLE

AI/ML Engineer Intern

ORGANIZATION

: Vowels of the People Association (VOPA)

We re seeking a talented, passionate AI/ML Engineer Intern.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Fine-tune and optimize state-of-the-art AI models for:

- Computer vision tasks (e.g., recognizing Indic languages in handwritten images)

- Language models (NLP/LLM) to improve recognition of various dialects and multilingual capabilities

Tackle complex challenges related to running AI models offline and optimizing their performance

Contribute to research in deep learning, AI model quantization, and related areas

Collaborate with experienced engineers and researchers on real-world AI/ML problems

DESIRABLE SKILL SET

Strong background in Python and ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)

Experience with computer-vision models and NLP/LLM fine-tuning (e.g., PEFT)

Familiarity with optimization techniques such as model quantization

Good understanding of model evaluation metrics and hyperparameter tuning

Good understanding of data preparation for AI/ML pipelines

Currently pursuing MCA, B.Tech, or a related degree
