AI Solution Architect
As an AI Solutions Architect within the AI Council, you will drive AI adoption across Innovation Engineering by identifying and prioritizing high-impact AI use cases, ranging from Generative AI to vision-based quality control and predictive analytics for factory optimization.
You will design and develop AI-enabled prototypes, providing hands-on technical expertise to engineering teams while aligning solutions with business objectives. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will create scalable AI architectures that integrate into hardware, systems, and software workflows. Your strategic influence ensures AI initiatives deliver measurable value, bridging business needs with technical execution.
Your role:

Design end-to-end AI solutions involving LLMs, prompt engineering, MCPs , agents but also non LLM application of machine learning for e.g vision, acoustics, mechatronics and factory applications. As well as data driven optimization in engineering workflows.
Youre the right fit if:
- Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology or related field. Masters degree is preferred.
- At least 12 years experience , with p roven experience in AI/ML solution architecture and s y stem engineering , ideally in an enterprise or regulated environment
- Deep understanding of generative AI technologies (LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval-based generation, agents)
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud-based AI platforms and modern GenAI toolkits and frameworks.
- Familiarity with programming concepts and common AI/ML development languages (e.g., Python)
- Exper ience in classical computer vision (OpenCV, image preprocessing, object detection, etc.) would be nice to have .
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical audiences
- Ability to thrive in a multi stakeholder environment
- Systems thinking mindset and ability to work across domains (hardware, systems, software)
- Collaborative, proactive, and energized by enabling others to succeed
- Handson experience in applied Data and AI is a must
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company s main facilities, generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
This role is an office-based role.
