AI Product Owner

As an AI Data Scientist at Johnson Controls in Pune, India, you will be part of the Data Strategy & Intelligence team, contributing to the development and deployment of machine learning/Generative AI and time series analysis models in production. Your role will involve leveraging your deep knowledge of machine learning concepts, Large Language Models (LLM), and experience in developing and deploying ML/Generative AI/ time series models to optimize energy consumption, generate insights, and improve building operations. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining AI algorithms within digital products, applying machine learning and advanced algorithms to enhance building efficiency and user comfort, translating data into actionable recommendations, and ensuring the robustness of AI solutions through well-designed algorithms and software. To succeed in this role, you should be adept at applying machine-learning concepts to practical applications, collaborating with product managers, analyzing datasets, writing Python code for ML/Generative AI solutions, and implementing state-of-the-art techniques in Generative AI. You will work on pre-training and fine-tuning ML models over CPU/GPU clusters, following code-quality standards, developing test cases, and communicating key results to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field, along with 5+ years of experience in developing and deploying ML models. Proficiency in Python and standard ML libraries, strong understanding of ML algorithms and techniques, experience with cloud-based ML/GenAI model development, and excellent communication skills are essential. Prior domain experience in smart buildings and working with Microsoft Azure Cloud is preferred.
