Core Requirements - SDE-2 Backend + AI Engineer

• Strong proficiency in

  Python

  for backend development (FastAPI / Flask / Django).
• Solid understanding of websockets,

  REST APIs

  , microservices, and distributed backend fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience integrating and consuming

  model inference APIs

  (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, local models, etc.).
• Practical experience with

  agentic frameworks

  such as:

• LangGraph

• OpenAI Agents SDK

• Google ADK (Agent Developer Kit)

• Expertise in

  tool calling

  : designing tools, schemas, multi-agent workflows, and handling structured outputs.
• Strong

  context engineering

  skills (retrieval strategies, prompt orchestration, token optimization, guardrails).
• Experience working with or building

  MCP (Model Context Protocol)

  tools/servers is a strong plus.
• Good backend fundamentals:

  SQL/NoSQL

  , caching, asynchronous processing, and performance debugging.
• Familiarity with

  system design

  and production-ready engineering practices.

• Experience with cloud deployment for AI agents is a plus

  (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Strong communication skills and ability to own features end-to-end.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and services relevant to ML (e.g., SageMaker, Vertex AI).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in building and maintaining API services (e.g., FastAPI, Flask) to expose ML models for real-time inference.
• Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Familiarity with data versioning tools (DVC) and model serving frameworks.
