JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: AI Computer Vision Engineer

Experience: 2–5 years

Reports To: Project Manager / Founder / CTO

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate Computer Vision Engineer to lead the development and training of custom object and action detection models using OpenMMLab frameworks (MMDetection & MMAction2). You will work closely with the software and deployment team to integrate real-time AI vision into CCTV video streams.

Responsibilities:

Train and fine-tune object detection models using MMDetection

Train and fine-tune action recognition models using MMAction2

Prepare and manage datasets (annotation, cleaning, augmentation)

Evaluate model performance, optimize for accuracy and speed

Convert and optimize models for deployment (ONNX, TorchScript)

Collaborate with backend and DevOps engineers for real-time integration

Guide annotation teams and define labeling standards

Required Skills:

Strong Python programming (3+ years)

Deep understanding of CNNs, object detection, action recognition

Hands-on experience with PyTorch and OpenMMLab (MMDetection/MMAction2)

Familiarity with annotation tools (CVAT, Label Studio)

Knowledge of inference optimization (ONNX, TorchScript)

Basic use of Docker for development/testing

Preferred:

Experience with video datasets like COCO, AVA, UCF101

Exposure to OpenCV and real-time video processing

Prior experience with CCTV video projects
