Employment Type: Contract / FreelancingExperience Level: Intermediate (2–5 Years)Role OverviewThe AI Boundary Analyst is a core contributor to Meithee Tech’s AI Governance function. This role is responsible for identifying, defining, and formalizing the boundaries of what AI systems should do across various contexts and business scenarios. The individual will collaborate closely with AI Prompt Engineers, Ethics Managers, and Value Analysts to ensure all AI-driven solutions operate within ethically aligned, technically implementable, and business-relevant boundaries.This is a domain-neutral, prompt-engineering-aligned role that blends ethical reasoning with structured system thinking. The analyst acts as an internal authority on AI permissibility, defining red lines, guiding responsible usage, and shaping decision frameworks before any AI solution is developed or deployed.Key Responsibilities

• Analyze AI-driven thought flows, user scenarios, and business objectives to establish clear ethical and operational boundaries.
• Develop structured documentation such as boundary maps, red zone scenario trees, and use-case guardrail definitions.
• Translate abstract ethical boundaries into prompt-ready logic that can be used directly by AI Prompt Developers and Product Engineers.
• Evaluate risks, ambiguities, and unintended consequences across AI applications, and codify acceptable vs. restricted behaviors.
• Participate in prompt validation exercises, scenario walkthroughs, and compliance simulations during the AI system design lifecycle.
• Maintain clear, scalable documentation that can be referenced by technical teams, governance teams, and product manager.
  

Required Qualifications2–5 years of experience in software development, AI product analysis, prompt engineering, or a related technical role.Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills with the ability to structure and defend ethical decisions.Exposure to large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, or conversational AI systems.Ability to author precise documentation suitable for product and engineering consumption (YAML, JSON, prompt trees, etc.).Familiarity with AI lifecycle and software development processes (SDLC).Excellent communication skills in English. Tamil proficiency is an advantage.

Additional Information - This is a non-remote position.Shortlisted candidates will undergo a 1-week onsite training and evaluation program at the designated office.
