AI & Automation Specialist

Reporting to the Manager of IT AI Development, this role will be key to developing, delivering, and supporting AI and automation solutions that will assist in driving the direction of the companys technology initiatives. The role emphasizes leveraging AI and automation technologies to drive optimization and enhance efficiencies across various parts of the business, including IT, Finance, HR, and other departments.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement AI and automation solutions using advanced technologies to improve business operations and support services. Develop and maintain scripts and automation workflows for processes and repetitive tasks across different departments. Utilize AI technologies to create predictive models to drive operational excellence and future growth & adoption. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI and automation solutions into broader system architectures. Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI and automation solutions, ensuring they meet business needs. Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI and automation technologies and contribute to the strategic direction of Hitachi Vantara IT. Troubleshoot complex issues related to AI models and automation workflows. Provide training and support to staff on the use of AI and automation tools.

What you ll bring

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in AI and automation technologies. 2 / 2 Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar. Proficiency with AI frameworks and tools like Azure, AWS, Langchain, Ollama, or similar. Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and models. Experience in developing and managing automation workflows. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovation in business support services.

Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud-based AI and automation services. Knowledge of ITIL practices and IT service management. Familiarity with data protection, security compliance, and intelligent data management. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Ability to leverage AI tools for predictive analytics and natural language processing.
