About the Role:

We are seeking a knowledgeable, proactive, and results-driven Agronomist to join our team. In this role, you will support efforts to improve crop productivity while promoting sustainable and environmentally responsible farming practices. You will be responsible for conducting field research, analyzing soil and crop data, and advising farmers and stakeholders on best agronomic practices and innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct soil, water, and plant analysis to determine crop requirements and maximize yield potential.
• Design and implement integrated crop management plans, including irrigation strategies, nutrient programs, and pest control measures.
• Monitor crop health and performance, identifying issues such as pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with farmers, agricultural technicians, and field staff to implement practical, science-based agronomic solutions.
• Participate in research and development of new products such as improved seed varieties, fertilizers, and biostimulants.
• Deliver technical training and support to growers on sustainable farming techniques and efficient crop production.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in agronomy, agricultural technologies, and regulatory developments.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in crop production, soil science, or agricultural consultancy
• Strong understanding of plant biology, soil chemistry, crop nutrition, and pest/disease management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and with clients
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in interpreting data to guide decision-making
• Proficiency in Marathi is mandatory

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with precision agriculture and sustainable farming practices
• Knowledge of local and regional agricultural regulations and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with climate-smart agriculture and regenerative farming methods

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
