About the Role:

We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Agronomist to join our team, supporting the enhancement of crop production and promoting sustainable farming practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting field trials, analyzing soil and crop data, advising on best agricultural practices, and contributing to the development of innovative farming solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform soil, plant, and water analyses to evaluate crop requirements and optimize yield.
• Develop and implement comprehensive crop management plans, including irrigation, fertilization, and pest control.
• Monitor and assess crop performance, identifying issues such as diseases, pests, or nutrient deficiencies.
• Collaborate closely with farmers, agricultural technicians, and other stakeholders to apply effective agronomic solutions.
• Conduct research trials and assist in product development efforts, including seed varieties, fertilizers, and biostimulants.
• Provide technical support and training to growers on sustainable and efficient agricultural methods.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in agronomy, agricultural technology, and industry regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in crop production, soil science, or agricultural consulting.
• Strong knowledge of plant biology, soil chemistry, pest management, and crop nutrition.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
• Analytical mindset capable of interpreting data and providing sound agronomic recommendations.
• Proficiency in Marathi language is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in precision agriculture and sustainable farming techniques.
• Understanding of local and regional agricultural regulations and certifications.
• Familiarity with climate-smart agriculture and regenerative farming practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
