AGM/DGM - Vendor Management Inventory

As an AGM/DGM Vendor Managed Inventory / Implant Inventory Management at Medanta, your role will involve conducting VMI analysis to identify optimization opportunities, leading strategic negotiations with manufacturers and vendors, and maintaining group-wide price agreements for medical supplies. You will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, overseeing VMI system implementation, tracking inventory across all units, and ensuring compliance with statutory guidelines. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct VMI analysis and monitor procurement trends - Lead negotiations with manufacturers and vendors - Drive group-wide price agreements for medical supplies - Manage vendor relationships focusing on performance and compliance - Implement and monitor SOPs related to VMI - Track and reconcile VMI stock across all units - Create and implement brand recommendations based on inputs - Monitor compliance with brand recommendations for cost savings - Ensure adherence to statutory guidelines and prevent non-compliances - Address and prevent audit observations and risks - Develop and implement a markup policy for vendor-managed items - Maintain a discount tracker for negotiated benefits realization Qualifications Required: - Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Operations, Healthcare Management, or equivalent - Minimum 10-15 years of experience in supply chain or inventory management - Proven experience in vendor negotiations, compliance, and SOP implementation - Strong understanding of healthcare procurement dynamics and VMI models In order to be successful in this role, you should possess: - Analytical and data-driven approach to spend and inventory analysis - Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills - Detail-oriented with compliance and audit acumen - Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management tools - Effective communication and team training abilities Please note that the workdays for this position are 6 days a week and the location is in Gurgaon.
