CSSD Technician

As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will be responsible for the proper handling and processing of medical instruments in the Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD). Your key responsibilities include: - Checking the details of instruments received from the ward and recording them in the CSSD record register. - Carrying out procedures in the washing room, including washing and drying instruments thoroughly. - Maintaining separate tables for OT instruments and ensuring proper checklist verification. - Transferring the instruments to the processing area and following proper sterilization procedures. - Labeling sets with content details and loading trolleys for sterilization. - Conducting physical, chemical, and biological tests to ensure complete sterilization. - Issuing items as per protocol and checklist in the sterile area. To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills: - Basic ability to read and write in the required language. - Attention to detail and knowledge about various instruments and equipment used in CSSD. - Understanding of temperature and pressure maintenance in different zones. - Knowledge about heat-sensitive instruments and sterilization cycles. - Time management skills and ability to follow protocols accurately. - Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail. This position offers full-time and permanent job types with a rotational shift schedule. The work location is in person.
