Job Description

As an Assistant General Manager (AGM) of Sales in the Steel and Ferrous Business at Brick2Wall, your role is crucial in driving revenue, expanding market share, and fostering strong relationships with customers and partners across India. Reporting to the General Manager of Sales, you will be responsible for the following key areas: - Drive sales for steel and ferrous product lines across various geographies, customer segments, and industries. - Identify and leverage growth opportunities through targeted market development and customer engagement. - Lead pricing strategies, key account planning, and impactful deal negotiations to consistently meet revenue and margin targets. In addition to sales execution and growth, your responsibilities will also include: - Building and nurturing strong relationships with key customers, channel partners, and industry stakeholders. - Initiating business development activities such as market expansion, new customer acquisition, and retention strategies. - Ensuring a deep understanding of customer requirements to offer customized solutions that enhance satisfaction and loyalty. Furthermore, you will oversee operational and commercial aspects by collaborating with procurement, logistics, and finance teams to streamline sales operations, order fulfillment, and cost management. Monitoring sales pipelines, forecasts, and CRM tools will be essential for driving performance visibility and decision-making. Timely collections and credit exposure management in line with company policies will also fall under your purview. Your role will involve staying abreast of market trends, competitor activities, pricing dynamics, and customer behavior to provide strategic insights. Regular reporting of sales metrics, forecasts, and recommendations for product enhancements, sales processes, and customer engagement strategies will be part of your responsibilities. Qualifications and Experience required for this role: - Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Metallurgical, Mechanical, Civil, or Material Engineering). MBA from Tier 1/Tier 2 institute is mandatory. - Experience: 2-5 years of sales experience. - Proven Expertise: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets, managing major accounts, and leading high-performing sales teams. - Skills: Outstanding leadership, negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to thrive under pressure and navigate complexity in a dynamic environment.,
