Common responsibilities

Manage the overall performance of steelmaking, including volume, efficiency, productivity, and cost. Coordinate production planning and scheduling to meet delivery commitments. Spearhead initiatives to improve work methods, safety, and equipment utilization.

Quality Control:

Ensure the quality of steel produced through process control and technology control. Develop and implement quality management systems (QMS). Oversee testing and analysis using equipment like spectrometers, hardness testers, and microscopes. Manage raw material procurement, including vendor management, contract negotiation, and inventory control. Ensure timely supply of quality materials and maintain optimal inventory levels.

Sales and Marketing:

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets. Identify new business opportunities and manage customer relationships. Prepare technical and commercial proposals and conduct market analysis.

Project Management:

Plan, monitor, and control projects, coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction. Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for new projects and plant upkeep.

People Management:

Train, mentor, and develop subordinates to improve performance and align with company objectives.

Foster a safe working culture and manage a cross-functional team.
