Agency Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Agency Recruitment & Development

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard high-potential life insurance agents/advisors.
  • Train and mentor agents on company products, sales techniques, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Develop and execute agent activation strategies to ensure productivity and engagement.
  • Monitor performance and provide ongoing support for agent growth and retention.

2. Sales Management

  • Drive sales of life insurance products through the agency channel.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and recruitment targets.
  • Conduct joint field calls to support agents in closing deals and improving conversion rates.
  • Track and report key performance metrics to the regional sales team.

3. Business Development

  • Explore and implement strategies for expanding the agency network and customer base.
  • Identify local market opportunities and initiate business development campaigns.
  • Establish strong community relationships to enhance brand visibility and lead generation.

4. Compliance & Operations

  • Ensure agents adhere to company policies, IRDAI regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of agent performance, licensing, and customer interactions.
  • Coordinate with underwriting, claims, and support teams to ensure smooth business operations.

Key Requirements:

  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree (any stream). MBA is an advantage.
  • Experience:

    3–6 years in sales, preferably in life insurance or financial services. Prior agency recruitment experience is a plus.
  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership and team management abilities
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Sales-driven mindset with customer focus
    • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
