Aerospace Technical Publication Trainer

This role is ideal for aerospace professionals with strong documentation expertise who are passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of aerospace engineers and technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver structured training modules on Aerospace Technical Publications (ATP)
• Train interns and students in industry standards like

  ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D, MIL-STD, AECMA

  , and others
• Guide learners in creating:
• Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM)
• Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC)
• Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM)
• Wiring Diagrams and Schematics
• Teach document creation tools:

  Arbortext, Adobe FrameMaker, Oxygen XML Editor, CorelDRAW

  , etc.
• Conduct live sessions, workshops, and hands-on practice sessions
• Provide feedback on assignments and evaluate participant progress
• Collaborate with curriculum developers and internship coordinators
• Stay updated with the latest aerospace documentation trends and standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in

  Aerospace Engineering

  ,

  Mechanical Engineering

  , or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in

  technical publication

  roles in the

  aerospace/defense

  industry
• Strong command over technical standards like

  S1000D, ATA iSpec2200, MIL-STD-38784

  , etc.
• Proficiency in relevant tools (FrameMaker, Arbortext, etc.)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to train and mentor students at various skill levels
