Job Title: Advanced Scientist
Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a background in polymer science or material science to join our R&D team, focused on developing technological toolboxes that enable high-performance silicone-based formulations to meet emerging needs in the automotive and consumer electronics markets. The successful candidate will support the development of innovative materials and platform technologies, contribute to establishing structure property performance correlations, and assist in translating technical insights into differentiated product offerings.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Intellectual Property, Analytical, Process Technology, and Marketing, business R&D to grow into a recognized technical expert in a global environment, contributing to business growth.
Responsibilities Include: - Develop foundational technology platforms and toolboxes that address emerging needs in Automotive, consumer and Industrial electronic sectors
- Apply state-of-the-art technologies and statistical methods to establish structure-property-performance relationships, generating actionable deep technical insights, and translating these into tailored, toolbox-based solutions for customers worldwide
- Monitor scientific literature and develop plans / propose new concepts to continuously innovate and update technology toolboxes
- Conduct IP landscape analyses in collaboration with IP analysts to build a strong technical footprint, contribute to the development of IP strategy and filing of invention disclosures.
- Contribute to the generation of presentations, documentations and technical reports for Internal stake holders and customers to communicate progress and results.
- Diligently document all experimental procedures and results in the Electronic Lab Notebook (ELNB) to ensure data integrity and support organizational knowledge sharing.
- Practices lab safety and ensure all activities adhere to EHS standards and quality systems in all day-to-day activities and lab operations.
Qualifications: The following are required for the role
- PhD with 0-3 years of job exp Or M.S./M Tech with 4-6 years of research/work experience
- Major in Polymer Science, Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Formulation Science, or related field
- Demonstrated expertise in establishing structure-property-performance relationships through hands on experimentation and data-driven statistical analysis.
- Team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical findings into actionable insights and practical solutions.
- Strong English communication skills verbal, written, and presentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
