Job Description

SUMMARY

Responsibilities:

Independently lead the execution of FEA for various sub-systems during different project phases.
Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and Wabtec specifications in FEA projects.
Work with Leadership to shape technology roadmap for the team.
Act as a mentor for lesser experienced members in the global team setup.
Lead multiple complex projects while adhering to Wabtec processes and meeting business standards.
Influence the technical direction for tools and techniques used for FEA.
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated and utilize the same for training and effort optimization.
Represent the team/business in technical matters to customers, regulatory agencies, consultants, and cross-functional teams.
Take the FEA through technical reviews and document the technical data consistent with Engineering policies and quality procedures.
Interface with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization.
Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments.
Participate in organizational initiatives and team activities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in mechanical engineering from a reputed institute.
5 to 10 years of hands-on experience demonstrating.
Strong hands-on experience in FEA for various sub-systems.
In-depth knowledge of compliance with customer, regulatory, and Wabtec specifications.
Proven experience in leading and influencing technical direction for FEA tools and techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to mentor and work effectively in a global team setup.
